How to Join

So you'd like to join us in Kevin Nation, huh? Here's how you get started!

First - you'll need to be a part of the E&K discord server and the kevin-nation minecraft channel. Head to the #minecraft-kevin-nation channel (or, if you can't see it, head to the #minecraft channel and request that one of the mods add you to the channel).

Please also review our server rules and information page carefully and make sure you understand the rules. By joining, you are consenting to these rules, so read carefully!

Once you're in our private channel, ask one of the Kevin Nation mods to whitelist your Minecraft username so you can connect to the server.

In the meantime, you'll want to make sure you have Minecraft installed with all the mods!

We're using version 1.16.4 of Java Minecraft, and Forge for our mods. Here's where you can find the mod files to download (this link is kept up-to-date as mods are updated or added so you'll want to keep it handy!).

The easiest way to get up and running is to download & install CurseForge, choose Minecraft, and click Create Custom Profile. Once you have a 1.16.4 Minecraft profile installed, right click on that profile in CurseForge and select Open Folder. From there you can access the mods folder and config folder and copy the mods files to mods and config files to config (as well as anything else you'd like to add like shaders etc).

You don't have to do it that way if you have your own preferred way of modding Minecraft! Just make sure your Forge version is up-to-date and that all of the mods are installed.

Once you've got Minecraft installed and properly modded, and your username has been whitelisted by the mods, you should be ready to connect to the server! Boot up Minecraft, click Multiplayer and Join Server, enter the url minecraft.kevin-nation.com, and connect! You should find yourself at spawn - make sure to read your welcome book, and have fun!
